Like the title says. It stopped charging after about 4 months. Contacted support by email and within an hour they had a replacement in the mail shipped out to me. Hoping this one lasts a bit longer.

Don’t like how she 12 hours it went from fully charged to dead during my brisket cook..

It would of got 5 stars if the battery lasted though a beef brisket I can only get half way through then I get another one out the finish the cook brisket takes up to 14 hrs I have cheat way to finish the brisket and get done in 9 hrs it’s the juicy brisket with lots of fat all of the place but the only downside it the battery life!

I cooked something simple before I start to cook the money meats. So I cooked drumstick and they came out very good. The target and the internal temperature was spot on but the ambient was off by 58° and that’s alot. But what really matters as it cooks is the internal temp and the target. But that’s my first cook. To be continuedI cooked a 2 overnight brisket today 04/19/24. It took 12.5 hrs cook came our amazing the internal temperature was spot on with the target. But I’ll let you now what I didn’t like. The ambient was off by 46° which to me really doesn’t matter. Also the alarm kept going off while I slept everything it disconnected. Not cool and there was no option to turn it off. It would also didn’t give me 600 ft distance as advertised. I barely got 100 ft. My house is a corner house and it about 100 ft of clearance to the smoker and it would disconnected. But out of all the thermo meter I went through this one the best and that a shame. I would have gave it 5 star but the ambient was way off.

I do all my smoking with a home Pellet Smoker. Temps were a pain as I did not like to use a discreet, hand held thermometer for my needs. I do keep a handheld model to check when removing as those work great too. However, this product allows hands free work as you insert it into the choice of smoking meat or oven meat [e.g. Chicken or Turkey] and use the AMAZING Smartphone app to set and monitor that progress. The App I use is Android. It has versatile alarms to set, many default suggested cooking profiles plus it is easy to set-up and use. I will always going forward use this product and ThermoPro is in my opinion the best in class all around!! Professional grade for all uses!

Once I got past the very poor instructions – I used the hunt and peck method to figure things out 🙂 – I was so pleased to discover that this tool works very well indeed. My advice is to read the instructions all the way through, maybe more than once, and understand that they are not clearly presented in logical order. I highly recommend this thermometer for all your roasts. I havent used it yet with my outdoor grill, so I can’t speak to its range or connectivity outside, but here in my kitchen it worked great. Simply awesome results!
